The story of the song; Although this isn’t a literal account of a Christmas Day, there are many a household that could tell a similar tale of, a comedy of errors, hilarity, tension, fallouts, drinking and fun. I hope people can appreciate the observational humour in the track, elements of which may well echo their own celebrations of Christmas.

On a more musical note, the song features time signature changes, tempo changes, harmonies and dense instrumentation. Lyrically, the song is essentially clean although, the lyrics do include the word ‘bloody’ once.
Despite plenty of great new Christmas songs being released each year, very few make it to the mainstream. Instead, the same old songs from decades past are put back into rotation on radio stations. It would be wonderful to think that rock fans may latch onto this tongue in cheek, rock, Christmas song.
